saw sherlock holmes. found out michael is going to make me see it again with him when i come home. i said as long as he pays. it was entertaining, but i don’t think the second time will be as entertaining since i know the ending.

anyone know the minimum gpa for dean's list?
Advertising: A-
Public Relations: A-
Camp and Cult TV: A-
Radio Programming: B
Best semester yet!!
Wow. I'm dumb.
Slept through my alarm, which never happens, woke up at 11am (thankfully not making me any near late for work) but potentially making it not possible to look at a parking space today.
I’ve been e-mailing back and forth almost a week with this woman who is renting a spot in Washington Square for a reasonable price. I was supposed to call this morning to go see the spot. So much for that, I...
For once, I MIGHT make dean's list.
Got an A- on my PR final project.
Got an A- in Advertising overall.
It’s looking like I’ll be getting at least a B in Camp and Cult TV (unless I REALLY screwed up my paper. But considering I got awesome feedback on my presentation, it’s doubtful.)
The only wildcard is Radio Programming, because I slipped up and got a 79 on the midterm, and I don’t know how I did on my...
Seriously?? It looks like a fleece bib! →
Done!
I feel great, I got my biggest project done and out of the way, and despite feeling a little unprepared for my presentation, and being completely overwhelmed with information on my topic, my teacher felt really positive about my topic and analysis.
I just think it’s hilarious that my final academic research paper (hopefully ever) was on the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour. Fitting, I guess.
I...
My academic work ethic can be described as...
I am on a roll… I get most of the assignment done… and then I hit a wall of…
… BUT I DON’T WANNA.
I have ALL of the information, I have tons of ideas, and I know I’m going to make the page limit, but I’m having a horrible time focusing while at home or in the library. I seriously don’t get it.
Self-motivation, where are you???
HUGE pet peeve.
Seriously, if the phone call is THAT important, take it outside the library. It’s finals week you inconsiderate fool.
(Or, just use text messaging!!)
I hate papers.
As soon as I think of a thesis, this paper will write itself, I (for once) have ALL of my research done. But no ideas!
Spring schedule... very near set!
There was a seat open in Sales Promotion/Special Event Management and I immediately registered for it.
Then, I noticed that the late section of Consumer Behavior wasn’t over enrolled, so I e-mailed the teacher, and because I’m a senior, she’s letting me in.
NOW, I can e-mail Braden at WZLX and get the ball rolling on an internship now that I know what my spring semester will...
End of semester checklist...
1. Final Advertising presentation
2. Final PR paper
3. Final Camp and Cult TV paper
4. Final Camp and Cult TV presentation
5. Final PR presentation
Mostly done. I have a week to wrap up my Camp and Cult TV assignments, and my PR presentation is written, I just have to give it. I think this is the least stressful finals period ever. Hopefully I can keep it up next semester.
I wouldn't mind this kind of jury duty... →
Open letter to those who have overly-heated...
My apartment is freezing because the landlord is too cheap to turn the heat up to a livable temperature. I’d rather be hot and sleeping in a tank top than trying to get cozy in bed with twenty layers on and still shivering.
Rest assured, Tori is calling the landlord in the morning, and I’m putting plastic on my windows to stop the draft. We’ll see what happens.
Matt Damon and Barry Manilow, who put THAT together!?”
“Someone who...

Finally getting around to it.
Just spent an hour creating a layout for the Local Show website. Gotta stop redirecting that URL to the MySpace page…
I’ll link it when the site is up and running.
New? Yes. To the internet? Not really.
I’ve adventured into blogging before. I started with a Teen Open Diary, then ventured into Xanga because I could make it pretty, and then into Livejournal (where I blog privately) for the simplified community aspect (I love getting updates in my friend page.)
But a lot of people I go to school with are using tumblr, and being encouraged by many teachers to make myself familiar with every...
